A great big thank you to Debbie & Richard for making Cosi Tabellini feel so at home at the fabulous Farmhouse, A Corner of Eden, Cumbria during our summer photo-shoots. We didn’t want to leave!

The gentle Georgian grandeur of the reverently restored Cumbrian farmhouse framed the subtle beauty of Cosi Tabellini pieces perfectly. The period property felt cosy and homely, despite its generous proportions, where tastefully furnished rooms magically fused the classic with the contemporary, just like Cosi Tabellini.

Debbie & Richard have cleverly created an air of easy elegance and inconspicuous indulgence to allow this traditional building, which must have seen generations of graft and grit during its time as a working Cumbrian farmhouse, to retain a sense of that realism and authenticity, but with all the modern comforts one would expect from a luxury letting.

It is hard to find a similar property, with a working dairy, cool enough to chill the whites, a commanding yet cosy dining room with a stone fireplace big enough to warm a regiment of reds, a choice of exquisitely styled bedrooms, and a boutique-style bathroom with the most beautiful view of peaceful pasture. A real dream of a property in which, after a hard day of photography, one can relax, eat home-made cake, sip complimentary champagne and sleep easy…
