Many thanks to Debbie & Richard for allowing us to capture the contemporary charm of Angel Barn at ‘A Corner of Eden’, Cumbria, as the platform for our summer photoshoot. Cosi Tabellini’s composition of classic with a contemporary twist suited the cool-yet-cosy style of Angel Barn perfectly.

Debbie & Richard’s 15th Century barn conversion has rightfully retained the fascinating fabric of the original building with reassuringly thick walls, deep-set windows and exposed stonework, whilst introducing unapologetically modern twists, such as en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped modern kitchen, and a master bedroom, complete with fabulously-fantastical four poster bed as well as the ultimate spa-bathroom in the master bedroom.

The merging of materials; solid stonework, beefy beams and forged iron with polished slate, kitchen chromes and tactile textiles results in a surprising synthesis of style-meets-substance which mirrors the ethos behind the handcrafted classic-come contemporary range of home and giftwares from Cosi Tabellini.
